Il giovane kartista Alex Zucco ha partecipato a questo Round della WSK col nuovo Team Monster K, gestito da Juri Serafini.
Sono presenti più di 400 piloti, tra i quali i migliori al mondo, e nella categoria del giovane kartista ce ne sono 88. Nelle giornate di prove libere, Alex e il team hanno messo a punto il kart, giornate durante le quali Alex ha costruito il feeling con il nuovo mezzo portando il distacco dai migliori a meno di 5 decimi, con soddisfazione da parte del team.
Nella giornata di venerdì si sono disputate le manche di qualificazione e purtroppo il giovane pilota, durante il suo giro migliore, è stato intralciato da un avversario compromettendo una buona posizione nella griglia di partenza, col risultato che nelle manche eliminatorie partirà dalla sedicesima fila.
Alex ha dimostrato anche questa volta la sua caparbietà nel non abbattersi nonostante la poco fortunata qualifica.
Le manche del venerdì si sono chiuse con dei buoni risultati. Infatti è riuscito a salire sempre a più di 8/10 posizioni per manche. Purtroppo durante la prima manche eliminatoria del sabato, Alex ha avuto un incidente in partenza che lo ha costretto al ritiro, mentre la seconda manche della giornata è stata chiusa con lo stesso risultato delle manche del venerdì.
Il fatto di non aver terminato la terza manche eliminatoria lo ha penalizzato, escludendolo per un solo punto dai 72 partecipanti alle prefinali.
Alex ha ormai archiviato questo capitolo portando a casa tutta l’esperienza e si sta già preparando per la finale della WSK SUPER MASTER SERIES Round 4 che si disputerà a fine febbraio sul Circuito Internazionale di Sarno.

There were over 400 drivers present, among whom are the world’s best, with 88 in Alex’s category.
During the days of free practice, Alex and the team fine-tuned the kart, while Alex also tried to bond with the new vehicle, narrowing the gap from the top performers to less than 5 tenths for the team’s satisfaction.
On Friday, the qualifying heats were held, and unfortunately the young driver, during his best lap, was obstructed by an opponent compromising a good position on the starting grid, resulting in starting from the sixteenth row in the elimination heats.
Alex once again demonstrated his perseverance in not getting discouraged despite the unlucky qualifying session.
The heats on Friday ended with good results. In fact, he managed to consistently climb more than 8/10 positions per heat. Unfortunately, during the first elimination heat on Saturday, Alex had an incident at the start that forced him to retire, while the second heat of the day ended with the same result as Friday’s heats.
Not being able to finish the third elimination heat penalized him, excluding him by just one point from the 72 participants in the pre-finals.
Alex has now closed this chapter, taking home all the experience, and is already preparing for the final of the WSK SUPER MASTER SERIES Round 4, which will take place at the end of February at the International Circuit of Sarno.
