Il giovane pilota lombardo in azione sui tracciati di Franciacorta e Cremona per prepararsi al meglio alla nuova annata che scatterà il prossimo weekend
Una nuova stagione di sfide in pista è ormai alle porte per Alex Zucco, il veloce kartista di Buccinasco che si prepara a gareggiare anche quest’anno su alcuni dei più prestigiosi palcoscenici della categoria KZ2. Il talentuoso pilota 16enne punterà anche nel 2024 a confermare quanto di buono messo in mostra durante la scorsa annata, conquistando il titolo riservato agli Under 18 nella Coppa Italia ACI Karting ed evidenziando un’importante escalation prestazionale nell’arco della stagione.
Zucco affronterà un programma agonistico che lo vedrà al via di importanti competizioni sia in ambito tricolore che a livello internazionale, con l’obiettivo di continuare la propria crescita ed ambire a nuovi ed ambiziosi traguardi. Tra di esse vi sarà anche l’attesissimo appuntamento con la Coppa del Mondo FIA, evento di spicco dell’intera annata che quest’anno andrà in scena nel mese di Ottobre sul circuito portoghese di Portimao. La scelta di continuare a gareggiare nel mondo del karting consentirà al giovane Alex di continuare il proprio percorso di maturazione potendo fare affidamento su una metodologia di lavoro già conosciuta, puntando a migliorare ulteriormente lo score già conquistato nel 2023.
Proprio al fine di potersi presentare al meglio all’esordio stagionale, Zucco ha svolto nei giorni scorsi un’intensa doppia sessione di test sui tracciati di Franciacorta e Cremona. Il driver lombardo ha macinato numerosi chilometri nell’arco delle varie giornate, riprendendo confidenza con il kart e fornendo preziosi feedback ai tecnici del team. Una tappa di preparazione rivelatasi fondamentale anche dal punto di vista fisico e mentale, visto che ha potuto evidenziare i progressi effettuati da Alex anche sotto questo aspetto grazie alle specifiche ed intense sedute di allenamento da lui svolte nel corso della pausa invernale.
L’obiettivo è quello di presentarsi al meglio in vista del primo appuntamento della nuova stagione, in programma dal 7 all’11 Febbraio sul Cremona Circuit nell’ambito del secondo round stagionale della WSK Super Master Series.
Alex Zucco: “Sono molto contento di aver definito il mio programma agonistico per il 2024, visto che sarà fondamentale per me poter continuare il percorso già intrapreso lo scorso anno con il team ed in questa categoria. Il calendario completo del 2024 è ancora in fase di definizione, ma per certo posso anticipare che saremo presenti nei principali eventi che già ci hanno visto protagonisti lo scorso anno. Abbiamo svolto dei test molto positivi nei giorni scorsi, grazie ai quali ho potuto ritrovare il giusto feeling con il kart dopo un periodo di inattività. Adesso puntiamo ad inaugurare con un buon risultato la nuova stagione già nel primo appuntamento in calendario, con l’obiettivo di toglierci quest’anno altre grandi soddisfazioni. The young Italian driver in action on the Franciacorta and Cremona tracks to best prepare for the new season that will start next weekend
A new season of challenges on the track is now upon us for Alex Zucco, the fast kart driver from Buccinasco who is preparing to compete again this year on some of the most prestigious stages in the KZ2 category. The talented 16-year-old driver will also aim in 2024 to confirm the good things he showed during the last year, winning the title reserved for the Under 18s in the ACI Karting Italian Cup and highlighting an important escalation in performance over the course of the season.
Zucco will face a competitive program that will see him at the start of important competitions both in Italy and internationally, with the aim of continuing his growth and aiming for new and ambitious goals. Among them there will also be the highly anticipated appointment with the FIA World Cup, a leading event of the entire year which this year will be staged in the month of October on the Portuguese circuit of Portimao. The choice to continue competing in the world of karting will allow the young Alex to continue his maturation path, being able to rely on an already known working methodology, aiming to further improve the score already achieved in 2023.
Precisely in order to be able to present himself at his best for his seasonal debut, Zucco carried out an intense double test session in recent days on the Franciacorta and Cremona tracks. The Lombard driver clocked up numerous kilometers over the course of the various days, regaining confidence with the kart and providing valuable feedback to the team technicians. A preparation stage that also proved to be fundamental from a physical and mental point of view, given that it was able to highlight the progress made by Alex also in this aspect thanks to the specific and intense training sessions he carried out during the winter break.
The objective is to present themselves at their best in view of the first appointment of the new season, scheduled from 7 to 11 February on the Cremona Circuit as part of the second seasonal round of the WSK Super Master Series.
Alex Zucco: “I am very happy to have defined my competitive program for 2024, given that it will be fundamental for me to be able to continue the path already undertaken last year with the team and in this category. The complete 2024 calendar is still being defined, but I can certainly anticipate that we will be present in the main events that already saw us as protagonists last year. We have carried out some very positive tests in recent days, thanks to which I was able to rediscover the right feeling with the kart after a period of inactivity. Now we aim to inaugurate the new season with a good result already in the first appointment on the calendar, with the aim of achieving further great satisfactions this year.
